Heron Silhouette- The heron is hand cut from silhouette paper and juxtaposed with found shells, fossilized sharks teeth and bone parts from ancient animals of the Miocene epoch and real dried & pressed seaweed.
The background design was inspired by my antique engravings and hand colored prints.
The frame is hand made from poplar wood and painted with an early vinegar painting technique,
in a deep blue color. Frame by Heartwood.
